Röt

Cake Pops are my weakness. (Only the pink ones)

Red lipstick is probably my favorite to use. I don't use it much around people I know. That shouldn't really matter no? Does that happen to you?
I also feel quite self conscious when re-applying lipstick in public. Even in the ladies bathroom, I usually go into a stall with my tiny mirror.

Wearing Revlon Standout with a Rimmel Liner in the corners.

Thanksgiving & Diffusing the Responsibility

Visited my mother for thanksgiving.

When I arrived we took the train part of the way back to her home. When I got on the train there was a lady who was passed out against the window. She didn't seem to be in great condition but of course we all go about our day.
After sitting on the train for about 10 minutes there was a flailing sound and some movement. I looked over to see what was happening and the lady was convulsing violently. She was foaming at the mouth and her eyes were bulging out of her head. Immediately I figure she was having a seizure.
Diffusion of responsibility man. People are fucking stupid. No one was doing anything! Some people were moving away from her except one girl who I became friends with afterwards. I called 911 and yelled for the train station authorities so they wouldn't take off with the convulsing lady on the train.
She was still breathing but completely unconscious when they made us get off the train.
We were directed to a different train, got on, and departed. I hope the lady is ok. I take great comfort in knowing that if anything happens to me or my loved ones no one is going to do a thing about it. I don't understand it man. Kitty Geneviese was brutally raped and murdered back in the 70s(? I think).
Why the hell don't people do anything when another person is suffering. In this instance there is no reason for someone to not have helped as she was completely unconscious and not a threat whatsoever to those around her.
She was black? Is it cynicism? Assuming she was some junkie who was having a bad trip or an overdose?

Milani Liquid Eye Pencil Liner - A Garlic Birthday

Talking about this bad boy down here today.

Milani claims that this eyeliner is a "liquid-like eyeliner pencil". It is super creamy and pigmented but if you've got oily skin it might smudge after a few hours. I usually take it with me when I use it so I can retouch the edged throughout the day. I love applying makeup so it isn't a cumbersome task for me. The color is navy blue (Blue 08) but it's super unique because it contain pink and purple shimmers that are barely noticeable. These shimmers really contribute to the colors intensity and really compliments brown eyes beautifully.

Super recommend this eyeliner. Pigmentation is amazing, staying power is decent, and it's super fun to add some color.

I have a lovely friend named James (for safety purposes haha) and it was his birthday recently. One of the ways I express my love towards people I care about is through meaningful presents.
James loves to consume raw garlic. Ew, right? He does make an excellent case for the benefits one can reap with the consumption of raw garlic.
So I got him a few meaningful presents and made him this card. I drew a garlic plant I found on google and burnt the edges and wrote "garlic" in different languages. I think he liked it.

 Have a great day/night/whatever :) !

Dying Hair for Internship + DYI Hair Nourishing Mask

My hair has never been as dried out and brittle as it is now. When I was around 13 or 14 I used to straighten it all the time and even then it wasn't as horrid as it is now. I think the real problem was this awful winter with temperatures below 0 most of the time. I also blow dried my hair (and it looked badass) a lot but caused a lot of problems. I also neglected trimming it for almost a year so now my consequences are hay-like hair.

On top of that, I've recently landed an internship (thank God) in Washington, D.C. Which is why I unfortunately had to get rid of the blue-green streaks in my hair. Which dried my hair out even more.

Of course the road back to full shiny curls as before will take several treatments and time but I'm going to show you a nourishing mask I've used that softens hair considerably, given the extent of the damage. All of the ingredients below were just eyeballed because I have a ton of hair. I used about half a cup for each oil, one banana, and three good squeezes of honey. I blended them all together and soaked my hair in it. Tied it up in a bun and put a plastic cap on my head. You can leave it on for as long as you like. I washed it out after about 2 hours.

- Coconut Oil
- Olive Oil
- Banana
- Honey

I hope this is somewhat helpful! Have an excellent day!
